One could opine and say yes and he perhaps would be right. Each day that passes has almost exactly the same number of hours in it. This is the same every day. Each year has the same number of weeks in it, (allowing for some adjustments). No one can deny this. But no one knows if the day is going to be sunny or wet. No one can predict if there is going to be peace or pestilence. What can be predicted is that people are averse to change. That we always find some kind of advantage or edge. Everytime. Short-term profits lure us much more than long-term viability. I are incapable of visualizing many things and this might be a problem. I notice that a number of people don’t visualize too much while many do it to excess. These excessive imagining appear to have no realistic goals in mind with the exception of the dreaming itself. And those who do this are called dreamers and this is said in a very bad way. I have heard it said that the limit to one’s accomplishment is imagination. Is this true? If this is the case then, I would surmise that being blessed with a vivid imagination would be an asset. I often hear people say, “be realistic”. Is this a wise saying? Or, something dense and somehow negative? would it put some limits on what can be accomplished life? I would like to think that there is no limit to one’s potential and that the limits imposed are stupid and unnatural. Life after all, is boundless and must never be unnaturally limited. At least, as far as I can see. We will only change if there is no other thing to do but change. Dictators never gracefully step down. They are assassinated. Everyone wants to say a thing or two. Conversely, many people also need to learn about things and blogs are a good way to offer the information required. Blogs are wonderful for promotion. This makes a difference when it comes to marketing a product or service. Promotion using blogs also plays a role in a non-monetary way as in self-promotion although people seem to do that intrinsically. Self-improvement can be one of the reasons for starting a blog. For the goal of sharing ideas or, clarifying a thought, as in a diary. One can get expert information from people’s blogs. This is one of the wonderful things about blogs, you can with great ease find many knowledgeable masters of their craft who share their techniques on a variety of topics. Making money is one reason why people blog. Many say this and it might be true. Speaking strictly for me, I have yet to make serious money by blogging but then again, I am not such an expert blogger. Many blog platforms exist. The two most popular are Blogger and Wordpress.
