When I first heard of it, I took no notice because I was still grappling with blogging. I realize, I am somewhat challenged when it comes to the web. It took me quite a while to come to a light bulb moment that there was more to the web than just emails and spam. There is a lot of those surely and they can definitely use up your time but, I can state, blogging held my attention the longest because I love to write. I do know that I am no good at it but I just love to write stuff. It matters little that there was no audience. Writing was all I needed to keep me well content. Well, for a while, anyway. I got nauseated doing the same things, namely, writing, or more importantly, I ran out of subject matters to write about. I required a change to keep from going insane and I turned my focus on other stuff like finding traffic. So I looked at social bookmarking. Nothing heavy, just surface-skimming stuff like, how does it work and simple things like that. The wonderful thing with social bookmarking sites is that it is so simple. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Search engines find your sites and index them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
